Public works

The Public Works Department oversees the planning and execution of the various works or projects required for the maintenance, construction and restoration of the different municipal infrastructures.

The department also monitors and controls the quality of work done by contractors.  The municipal road network consists of more than 120 km of roads, including 10 km of paved rural roads, and more than 110 km of rural gravel roads.
